Carolina gave up another big inning Tuesday evening.

Montgomery capitalized on a six-run, fifth-inning outburst and claimed a 10-5 victory at Riverwalk Stadium.

The Biscuits used six hits, including Rashad Eldridge's two-RBI double, and a walk to take control of the game.

Four Carolina pitchers permitted 16 hits for Montgomery, which scored in double digits for the second consecutive day.

Lee Mitchell homered for the Mudcats in the second inning to forge a 2-2 tie.
