K-Tribe splits doubleheader

Kinston split a doubleheader with Potomac on Sunday.
Alex Castillo supplied two run-scoring singles as the K-Tribe took the opener 7-5. The Cannons salvaged the series with a 4-0 victory in the nightcap.
Carlton Smith emerged the winning pitcher in the first game, striking out four in 62/3 innings.
