Kinston extended its win streak to a season-high five games with a doubleheader sweep against Frederick on Thursday.
The K-Tribe dealt the Keys 5-0 and 3-2 losses on the historic Grainger Stadium diamond. Steven Wright threw a complete-game, seven-hitter in the opener. Jason Denham's three-run homer helped Kinston pull out the nightcap.
Kinston begins a seven-game road swing today at Potomac and will play 14 of its next 17 games on the road.
