MOUNT OLIVE -- A three-peat in men's baseball and a runner-up finish in the softball tournament helped Mount Olive match its best-ever showing in the 2007-08 Conference Carolinas Joby Hawn Cup Standings.
The Trojans also claimed regular-season and tournament titles in men's and women's basketball. Overall, eight Mount Olive teams posted top-five finishes in regular-season play.
Anderson claimed the Hawn Cup for the second consecutive year.
Cup points are awarded to each school based on regular-season standings. Points are also awarded to the conference tournament champion and runner-up in each sport. The order of finish in the men's and women's cross country and golf championships determine the number of points awarded to each school.
