MOUNT OLIVE -- Bailey Harrell provided the go-ahead, RBI single in the sixth inning as Mount Olive rallied past Conference Carolinas archrival Barton 8-5 in game one of their doubleheader Wednesday afternoon.

Jenny Jackson added a two-run homer and retired 19 of 24 batters in relief in the pitcher's circle for the win.

Allison Czerski plated a career-best four RBI and Anna Turvin tossed a five-hitter as the Trojans claimed the nightcap 11-2. Mount Olive (23-18 overall) improved to 9-7 against Conference Carolinas opposition.

Barton used five consecutive hits to claim a 5-2, first-inning lead in the opening game. Jackson (15-9) replaced Turvin and retired 15 of 16 batters, including 11 straight during one stretch. Jackson permitted three hits and logged six strikeouts.
