PITTSBURGH -- Pittsburgh has re-signed long snapper Greg Warren, who starred at Southern Wayne High School, to a three-year contract, according to the team's website.

The deal is worth $2.3 million and includes a $395,000 signing bonus.

Warren signed with the Steelers as an undrafted free agent out of North Carolina in 2005. Pittsburgh won the Super Bowl that season as Warren handled the long-snapping duties for field goals, extra points and punts.

He also made other special teams contributions.

Pittsburgh tendered Warren an offer before the multi-year contract had been completed. Warren has appeared in 48 consecutive regular-season games and made five postseason appearances.
