Behind 30 points from Stephen McIntyre, Rosewood routed Class 1-A Carolina Conference foe Princeton 64-41 on Tuesday.

The loss was the Bulldogs' second straight.

Taylor Allen and Holt Rains each scored 12 points for the Eagles (6-10 overall, 2-3 CC).

Ryan Daughtry had 14 points for Princeton (14-5, 3-2 CC) and Micahel Radford and Josh Barefoot each pitched in nine.

The Bulldogs visit Spring Creek on Thursday. Rosewood plays host to conference-leading Ayden-Grifton on Friday.

Saints stumble

DUDLEY -- In a battle for second place in the Eastern Carolina 3-A Conference on Tuesday night it was Wilson Hunt that was left standing after downing Southern Wayne 77-69 on Tuesday.

The Saints' Desmond Raiford led all scorers with 26 points. John Hart pitched tallied 21 and Kendrick Thompson contributed 10.

Stephon Pitt and Juan Harrison each scored 17 for Hunt.

Southern Wayne (7-12 overall, 3-2 ECC) visits Eastern Wayne on Friday.

Faith earns road win

HOOKERTON -- Faith Christian picked up a 67-62 win at Mount Calvary on Tuesday.

Taylor Stocks had 22 points, Jeremy Sandlin recorded a double-double with 21 points and 16 rebounds and Eric Powell and Brad Floars each had eight points.

The Conquerors (12-6) host Trinity Christian on Friday.

Gators chomp Rebels

SEVEN SPRINGS -- Spring Creek picked up a key Carolina 1-A Conference win defeating North Duplin 77-56.

Lucas Potter paced the Gators (5-9 overall, 2-3 CC) with 17 points, Terence Johnson supplied 16, Eugene Robinson had 14 and Brian Kornegay had 12.

Chris Graham scored 20 points for North Duplin (2-9, 0-5 CC) and Chris Warren added 12.

Spring Creek hosts Princeton on Thursday and North Duplin visits North Johnston on Friday.

Chargers prevail

ROCKY MOUNT -- Thanks to some stingy defense and a comfortable halftime lead Wayne Country Day strolled to an 89-48 win at Faith Christian on Rocky Mount on Tuesday.

The Chargers (18-5, 5-1 Coastal Plains Independent Conference led 55-22 at the half and never looked back. Floronta Wynn tallied 23 points for Wayne Country Day, Reco McMcarter pitched in 15 and Tim Hobbs tacked on 13.

Streak alive for WCDS

ROCKY MOUNT -- Wayne Country Day pushed its winning streak to nine games with a 41-32 win at Faith Christian of Rocky Mount on Tuesday.

Kim Martell led the Chargers attack with 15 points and Brooke Norris and Shaelle Anderson both added with.

The Chargers (11-7) host Harrells Academy today.

Rebels cage Gators

SEVEN SPRINGS -- North Duplin edged Carolina 1-A Conference rival Spring Creek 45-44 on Tuesday.

The Rebels' (5-6 overall, 2-3) Jodie Williamson led all scorers with 17 points, Jessica Pridgen added 11 and Heather Hudson contributed eight.

Melanie Deveaux paced the Gators (2-12, 0-5) with 14 points.

Spring Creek hosts Princeton on Thursday and North Duplin visits North Johnston on Friday.

So. Wayne tops Hunt

DUDLEY -- Lynnesha Leonard scored 20 points and Southern Wayne turned back Wilson Hunt 57-41 on Tuesday.

Shakoria Clark finished with 15 points and Brianna Lofton contributed seven.

The Saints ( 11-7, 3-2) visit Eastern Wayne on Friday.

Conquerors victorious

HOOKERTON -- Four different Conquerors pulled down 10 rebounds and Faith Christian earned a 41-15 win at Mount Calvary on Tuesday.

Alyssa Hill finished with 13 points and 10 rebounds, Madison Caudle pitched in six points and 10 rebounds, and Katie Stevens and Kaitlyn Floars both had 10 rebounds. Lindsey Godwin supplied seven points as well.

The Conquerors (10-5, 8-3 N.C. Christian Schools Association) host Trinity Christian on Friday.

Rams corralled

SNOW HILL -- Eastern Plains 2-A Conference foe North Lenoir was too much for Greene Central on Tuesday as the Hawks defeated the Rams 58-45.

Tia Jones paced Greene Central with 10 points and Shanna Parker and Jocelyn Conner both added eight.

The Rams (2-18, 1-4 Eastern Plains 2-A) visit Farmville Central on Friday.

Junior varsity

* Eastern Wayne boys 47, Charles B. Aycock -- Jaquar Kelly scored 20 points points to lead Eastern Wayne (14-2, 4-1 ECC), Jarell Davis added eight and Jamar Brody contributed five.

Shepard Whitfield finished with 10 points and 11 rebounds for the Golden Falcons (2-15, 1-4) and Matt Woodard and RaJohn Ormond each had eight.

* Princeton boys 51, Rosewood 36 -- Cody Harris scored 16 points for Rosewood (6-10, 3-2 CC) and Jonathan Franks had 11.

* Greene Central boys 78, North Lenoir 77 -- Marquis Grant and Malcolm Dawson each scored 14 for North Lenoir.

* Wayne Country Day boys 54, Faith of Rocky Mount 38 -- Hill Tanner led the Chargers with 16 points and Cameron Ford and Stoan Stewart each added 12. The Chargers (16-1, 5-0) host Harrells Academy today.

* Eastern Wayne girls 41, Kinston 26 -- Carly Givens paced the Warriors (11-2, 2-1 ECC) with 10 points and Janielle Daniel added eight.

Middle schools

* Mount Olive boys 67, Dillard 27 -- Andrew Matthews finished with 13 points for Mount Olive (12-0) and Breyon Johnson added 11. Mount Olive hosts Greenwood on Thursday.

* Wayne Christian girls 35, St. Peters 19 -- Brooke Barfield had 18 points for the Eagles (5-6) and Katie Isenhower and Niki Fitzmorris each added six.
