DUDLEY -- Kelvin Flow had a pair of rushing touchdowns, Wilson Beddingfield coughed the ball up five times, and Southern Wayne edged the Bruins 14-12 on Friday night.

Flow found the endzone from six yards out late in the first quarter, giving the Saints a 7-0 lead.

After a Beddingfield fumble set up Flow's first score, the Bruins lost the ball again and the Saints capitalized.

Flow rumbled into the endzone from five yards out, with less than four minutes remaining in the first half. Flow finished with 106 yards on 19 carries, before being ejected for a minor scuffle early in the fourth quarter.

Tristan Bass paced the Saints rushing attack with a game-high 198 yards.

Trailing 14-0, Bruins quarterback Lance Price led a second-half comeback, that included touchdown passes to Jermal Artis and Jumal Rolle.

However, Beddingfield had an extra point blocked in the third quarter, and Price's two-point conversion pass fell incomplete late in the game.

The Bruins had one last possession late in the game, but Price was picked off, sealing the win for Southern Wayne.

The Saints (4-4 overall), improved to 2-0 in the Eastern Carolina 3-A Conference, and visit Southern Wayne on Friday.

Beddingfield (2-6, 1-1) travels to Eastern Wayne on Friday.
