MOC men's volleyball goes 1-1 on weekend trip

FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- Sophomore outside hitter Pedro Penate and sophomore right-side hitter Cesar Trigo de Serrano notched 17 kills apiece as Mount Olive College swept Endicott (Mass.) 30-19, 30-20, 30-26 on Saturday afternoon.
Penate delivered a match-high 16 kills as the Trojans (9-4 overall) fell to host Sacred Heart 30-26, 30-28, 30-26.
Junior setter Zach Wilson dished out 48 assists against Endicott. Mount Olive posted a .385 hitting percentage in the straight-set win.
Trigo de Serrano collected 12 kills against Sacred Heart. Wilson handed out 39 assists. Junior libero Kris Suarez tallied 10 digs.
