Scoreboard operator needed

CBA awards night
The fall athletics awards night at C.B. Aycock will be held tonight at 7 p.m. in the old gymnasium.
ECU Baseball College Prep camp
A two-day instructional clinic for prospective college players and their parents, the ECU Baseball College Prep Camp is scheduled for Dec. 16-17. The camp is designed to help prepare a player for baseball at the collegiate level and to help parents understand the process involved. The cost of the camp is $225 and a non-refundable deposit of $100 is due by Dec. 1. The balance is payable any time up to the day of the camp via money order or cash. The cost of the seminar for parents who do not have campers in attendance is $100 and must be paid prior to Dec. 1. The camp staff includes ECU head coach Billy Godwin, assistant coach Link Jarrett, assistant coach Bill Jarman and assistant coach Ben Sanderson. For more information, telephone (252) 737-1989.
MOC Indoor Soccer Tournament
The 2006 Mount Olive College Indoor Soccer Tournament is scheduled Dec. 8-10 at Kornegay Arena on the Mount Olive College campus. Age groups for boys and girls are: 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U, 16U and 18U. 2006 Exchange Club Tournament

Boys and Girls Club basketball
Registration for youth basketball sponsored by the Wayne County Boys and Girls Club began Nov. 1 and concludes Dec. 8. The program is for boys and girls ages 6-15 and the registration fees are -- $50 members, $60 non-members. For more information, telephone Jeff Barnes at 735-2358.
UPWARD basketball
The First Penecostal Holiness Church in Goldsboro has pre-registration for UPWARD basketball until Dec. 13. The registration fee is $55, which includes a complete uniform. Youth basketball registration

Adult Church League basketball

National Babe Ruth umpires clinic
The N.C. Babe Ruth State Clinic is scheduled for Dec. 30 at the ECAP. The registration period is from 8:30-9 a.m. and the clinic will run until 5 p.m. The clinic is for all umpires interested in umpiring Babe Ruth baseball and all coaches are encourage to attend.
