WARSAW -- Stedman Mathis rushed for a season-high three touchdowns and state-ranked James Kenan hammered Midway 41-6 in Class 1-A Super Six Conference play Friday evening.

Mathis rambled for touchdowns on runs of 4, 6 and 19 yards.

Jimmie Glaspie, Brandon Satchell and Jayvon Devane each added a touchdown for the Tigers, ranked No. 6 in the latest Associated Press 1-A poll.

Glaspie amassed a game-high 116 yards on just six carries. Satchell provided 97 yards on nine totes.

Backup quarterback Sean Wilson filled in for Alex Monk and completed three passes for 82 yards. A rib injury kept Monk, a senior, sidelined for the game.

Jamian Smith hauled in two receptions for 69 yards, while Kendall Jones snagged one pass for 13 yards.

The Tigers (8-0) entertain Hobbton next Friday. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. at Bill Taylor Field.
