Warriors take 10th

FAYETTEVILLE -- Eastern Wayne's Chris Tesar, a first-year runner, finished 14th overall with a time of 18:33 at the Jungle Run at South View High School on Saturday.
The Warrior boys finished 10th overall in the boys meet as Steven Henricks (19:26) and Tim Wright (19:41) both finished among the top 51 runners.
With just two returners back in Natalie Taylor and Lyddia Hirschy, Eastern Wayne's girls finished 13th overall in the meet.
Taylor ran a 24:54 -- good for 55th, while Sarah Ricker (24:57) and Hirschy (25:01) also finished in the top 60.
The Warriors return to action today at Wilson Hunt.
