Chargers sweep East Wake

Wayne Country Day evened their record to 1-1 with a sweep of East Wake at home on Friday.
The Chargers won 25-17, 25-19 and 25-20.
Shelly Sullivan led the way for WCDS with 11 kills, six aces and two digs, while Ashley Clark added 25 assists, five kills and four aces. Stephanie Sykes chipped in five kills, five digs and one ace, and Kayla Flanagan provided five digs.
The Chargers return to action today at 4 p.m. at home against Goldsboro High.
