Trojan netters cruise
Mount Olive won all six singles matches as the Trojans opened their 2006 season with an 8-1 victory over Fayetteville State in non-conference NCAA II women's tennis Friday at Walker Tennis Center.

Jen Mosier's straight-set win at No. 4 singles clinched the overall win for Mount Olive. Mariana Shimoda and Lauren Harris followed with wins at Nos. 2 and 5 singles respectively.
Freshman Carol Salgado de Aro lost only two games at No. 3 singles in her collegiate debut, while sophomore Emily Escolas, also making her collegiate tennis debut, won a second-set tie-breaker at No. 6 singles.
