Lady Conquerors beat Mount Calvary 42-19
Faith Christian's Natalie Thibeaux scored 14 points and pulled down 12 rebounds as the Lady Conquerors defeated Mount Calvary 42-19 on homecoming last Friday night.
Thibeaux added five steals and three assists, while Amie Hill contributed eight points and eight rebounds.
Alyssa Hill provided 11 rebounds for the Conquerors (11-7, 7-2 N.C. Christian Schools Athletic Association), as Elizabeth Clarke had nine rebounds and six steals.
Amber Mills paced Mount Calvary with eight points.
Faith concluded regular season play and will open up the NCCSA Coastal Region playoffs on Feb. 17 at home.
Eagles fall in
tough, road contest
DURHAM -- Wayne Christian's Logan Dawson led her team with 12 points in the Eagles' 37-35 loss at Cresset Christian on Monday.
Hope Wright contributed 10 points and 10 rebounds for WCS, which concluded the regular season at 8-16 overall and 5-8 in Carolina Christian 1-A Conference play. Brooke Norris added six points and seven rebounds for the Eagles, while Katie Daniels pulled down eight boards.
WCS opens conference tournament play this week.

Eagles slip
at Cresset
DURHAM -- Wayne Christian's Robert Anderson had a team-high 13 points as the Eagles suffered a 79-56 loss at Cresset Christian on Monday.
Nick Woods and Adam Brannan added 11 and 10 points, respectively for WCS, which opens Carolina Christian 1-A Conference tournament play this week.
Billy Smith contributed nine rebounds, three assists and three steals for the Eagles (12-12, 6-7 CCC).
