Norris' double-double leads Wayne Christian
Wayne Christian's Brooke Norris posted a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds as the Eagles defeated Johnston Christian 34-28 at Clifford Gymnasium on Monday night.
Wayne Christian (2-6 overall) improved to 1-1 in Carolina Christian 1-A Conference play and will host Cape Fear Christian on Friday.
Michelle Krug added eight points, three steals, two assists and two rebounds for the Eagles, while Katie Daniels and Stacie McCary combined for 15 rebounds.

Wayne Christian improved to 5-0 overall with a 37-4 win at home on Monday over Johnston Christian in Carolina Christian 1-A Conference action.
Jennifer Price finished with nine points and four rebounds for the Eagles, while teammate Charlie Ipock added eight points, four rebounds, four steals and three assists.
Wayne Christian hosts Cape Fear Christian on Friday.

Wayne Christian's Eric Williams posted his fifth straight double-double with 21 points and 15 rebounds to help boost the Eagles to a 51-35 home win against Johnston Christian on Monday.
Wayne Christian (3-2 overall) improved to 1-0 in the Carolina Christian 1-A Conference heading into Friday's home contest against Cape Fear Christian.
Brian Alexander pulled down 10 rebounds for the Eagles, while Colton Woods added seven points.
