Conquerors shut out Trinity, 5-0
GREENVILLE -- Faith Christian's Freddy Ignot tallied four goals as the Conquerors won their sixth straight after a 5-0 shutout at Trinity Christian of Greenville on Monday.
Charlie Sugg added one goal and one assist, while Stephen Marshal and Austin Webber notched one for Faith (6-3, 3-2 N.C. Christian Schools Association 2-A), which turned in its third-straight shutout.
The Conquerors return to action on Oct. 13 at Falls Road-Rocky Mount.

SNOW HILL -- Greene Central suffered a 6-0 loss at home to Tarboro on Monday in Class 2-A Eastern Plains Conference play.
The loss drops the Rams (6-3 overall) to 1-1 in EPC play heading into Wednesday's contest at Farmville Central.

GREENVILLE -- Faith Christian's Natalie Thibeaux tallied eight digs and three kills as the Conquerors suffered a 23-25, 25-11, 25-13, 15-25, 15-11.
Kaitlyn Floars added five digs and two aces, while Elizabeth Clarke added three digs and three kills.
Faith (2-8, 1-5 N.C. Christian Schools Association 2-A), travels to Falls Road-Rocky Mount on Oct. 13.

Greenfield Academy
SNOW HILL -- Greene Central improved to 18-1 overall with a 9-0 sweep over Greenfield Academy at home on Monday.
In singles, Meredith Rouse, Christi Murphy, Ashley Harrell, Michelle Jernigan, Elizabeth Cooper and Sarah Beth Carraway each claimed wins. The tandems of Rouse-Murphy, Harrell-Jernigan and Cooper-Ashley Grant helped finish off the sweep in doubles.
Greenfield dropped to 8-5 on the season.
The Rams return to Class 2-A Eastern Plains Conference action today at Tarboro.
