Aaron Sladick registered the hat trick (three goals) and collected the game-winning goal in overtime as Faith Christian nipped Falls Road Baptist 6-5 in in N.C. Christian Schools Association play Friday afternoon.
The Conquerors seized their first win in four outings.
Jonathan McNeese provided two goals, including a penalty kick. Stephen Marshall contributed one goal and dished out three assists.
Keeper Jonathan Ziegler yielded one first-half goal and recorded 12 saves for Faith Christian.
The Conquerors entertain Liberty Christian next Tuesday. Kickoff is scheduled for 4 p.m.
Davis scores twice
in CBA road win
Garrett Davis notched the game-winning goal in the 70th minute as Charles B. Aycock turned back Wayne Country Day 3-2 in non-conference play Friday afternoon.
Davis' goal snapped a 2-2 tie after Charger goals from Hyo Won Ha (50th minute) and Jeff Franklin (55th minute). Franklin assisted Ha, while Sam Steed dropped a corner kick for Franklin's header into goal.
Davis and teammate Islas Jorge tallied marks in the 32nd and 33rd minutes, respectively, to give Aycock a 2-0 advantage at halftime.
Charger keeper Ryan Ford recorded 10 saves.
Wayne Country Day (5-2) travels to Rosewood on Monday. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. at Branch Pope Field.

stop South Lenoir
DEEP RUN -- Nick Williams and Dejuan Gray each rushed for two touchdowns as unbeaten North Lenoir defeated archrival South Lenoir 44-6 on Thursday.
Tamarcus Ellis added one rushing touchdown. Quarterback Devontae Bizzell threw a 35-yard touchdown pass.
Matt Quinn and Larry Harper emerged the defensive leaders.
North Lenoir (3-0) travels to West Craven next Thursday.
