Wayne Juniors fall to Wilson

DUDLEY -- Wayne County's Alex Casey had two hits, including a double, and two RBI as Post 11's Junior Legion team suffered a 5-4 loss at home on Wednesday to Wilson.
Wilson got a solo home run from Chris Lamb to start the sixth to take the lead for good.
Sterling Grice and Chris Massey had one hit and one RBI each for Post 11. Michael Mintz picked up the loss in one inning of relief.
Wayne County's Timothy Rogers started and went three innings, yielding two runs on two hits with four strikeouts and two walks. Taylor Allen and Sterling Grice came on in relief.
Wayne County (2-2) travels to Smithfield tonight.
