Greene Central grapplers dominate Bruins

WILSON -- Greene Central prevailed in 10 of 14 weight classes and rolled past Beddingfield 54-24 in a non-conference wrestling match.
The Rams improved to 4-4 overall and surpassed last season's win total of three. They are scheduled to wrestle at home Wednesday against Class 2-A Eastern Plains Conference leader Tarboro.
Joel Chamberlain (119 pounds), Darrin Gohrman (189) and 215-pounder Marquis Eanes each pinned their respective opponent. Cameron Taylor (130) and Tim McKinney (152) each recorded a three-point decision.
Stephen Mace (103), Robert Phillips (125), Tim McNair (140), Robert Tyndall (160) and heavyweight Justin Wellington each received a forfeit.
