Charles B. Aycock's Santavin Poole scored 21 points for the second time this season against Wilson Beddingfield as the Golden Falcons claimed a 76-71 win at home over the Bruins on Wednesday.
Chris Foreman posted a career-high, 16-point effort for Aycock (2-3), while Rob Phillips added 12 points.
Beddingfield's Alfred Artis led all scorers with 25 points.
The Falcons host South Johnston on Friday.

Princeton tops Raleigh Charter
RALEIGH -- Princeton's Karter Yutzy dropped in 18 points to help guide the Bulldogs to a 64-36 win at Raleigh Charter on Wednesday.
Brandon Pate and Josh Thompson added 12 points each for the Bulldogs (3-1), who travel to Louisburg today.
Phil Hurm and Casey Hester scored eight points each for Raleigh Charter.

PIKEVILLE -- Charles B. Aycock's Emily Stewart scored nine points in a 44-34 loss at home to Wilson Beddingfield on Wednesday night.
Keyata Pettiford added eight points for the Falcons, who are still searching for their first win at 0-5 overall.
Jacobia Lucas and Shannon Newby posted nine points each for the Bruins.
Aycock hosts another non-conference foe on Friday -- South Johnston.

RALEIGH -- Raleigh Charter defeated Princeton 38-30 in Raleigh on Wednesday.
The loss drops the Bulldogs to 2-2 heading into today's game in Louisburg.
No further information was provided on Wednesday's game.

Haynes shines for CBA
PIKEVILLE -- Charles B. Aycock's Brandon Haynes scored 16 points in a 45-41 home win over Wilson Beddingfield on Wednesday.
In his last two games, Haynes has posted 48 points. Tim Alston added 11 points and 11 rebounds for the Falcons (3-2), who host South Johnston on Friday.
W. Christian pounds Trinity
GREENVILLE -- Wayne Christian's T.A. Brannan and Matt Davis scored 12 points each in a 68-34 win at Trinity of Greenville on Tuesday.
The Conquerors take a 5-0 mark into Friday's home game against Cape Fear.
Faith falls to Liberty
Liberty Christian Academy of Durham defeated Faith Christian 37-15 at Faith on Tuesday in a non-conference tilt.
The Conquerors fell to 1-1 on the season.
