Faith Christian's Aaron Sladick led the Conquerors with 12 points as Faith defeated Liberty Christian of Fayetteville 55-18 on Wednesday in its season-opener.
T.J. Sasser added 10 points for Faith, while Steven Sloan and Josh Brannan posted nine points each.
The Conquerors (1-0) will travel to Wendell today to take place in the eight-team, Southeastern Invitational Tournament. Faith plays Hawthorn Christian of Chester, S.C. to open tourney play.

FAYETTEVILLE -- Faith Christian's Natalie Thibeaux led all scorers with nine points as the Conquerors won their season opener at Liberty Christian 32-11.
Christie Charles added seven points for Faith (1-0), while Elizabeth Clarke grabbed eight rebounds, dished out three assists and had four steals. Elizabeth Christopher had four assists with eight steals.

Wayne Christian's Ashley Clark led all scorers with 16 points, including four three-pointers, to help boost the Eagles to a 49-38 win over Trinity-Greenville at home.
Stacie McCary added 11 points for Wayne Christian (2-0), who used a 17-point third quarter to go up 40-28 heading into the fourth.
Kenesi Cobb paced Trinity with 14 points.
Wayne Christian hosts Village-Christian of Fayetteville at home on Friday.
