Rams crush South Lenoir

SNOW HILL -- Junior tailback Chris Hodges ran for 152 yards and scored three touchdowns as Greene Central popped South Lenoir 41-6 in the regular-season finale Friday at the James R. Fulghum Ahtletic Complex.
The victory puts Greene Central (6-5, 3-2) in a three-way tie for second place in the Class 2-A Eastern Plains Conference. The Rams will take the fourth seed for the playoffs since the Rams were beaten by both SouthWest Edgecombe and North Lenoir.
Hodges kick-started the Rams into 250 yards on the ground.
Dreyan Willis, Travis Rouse and Harrison Walston also scored touchddowns for Greene Central. Rouse and Cameron Shelton combined to go 10-of-17 for 117 yards through the air, with Dashon Bynum snaring four passes for 74 yards.
