Rec soccer

Wayne Christian 13-15s d. St. Mary's 6-2 -- Josh Powers, Josh Best, Charlie Ipock, Spencer Wise, Bradley Yelverton and Brock Winders each scored a goal. Taylor Gardner dished out two assists, while Joe Carter, Josh Best, John Thomas Norris and Gregory Alexander each provided one assist. Goalkeepers Travis Thomas and Josh Best combined for eight saves. Wayne Christian finished the year 11-1-1.

Wayne Christian 13-15s d. YMCA 7-0 -- Gregory Alexander punched in a team-leading two goals. Spencer Wise, Justin Brathwait, Joe Carter, Bradley Yelverton and John Thomas Norris each scored one goal. Taylor Gardner handed out three assists. Carter, Alexander, Travis Thomas and Charlie Ipock each dished out one assist. Goalkeepers Josh Best and John Thomas Norris combined for five saves.

Lane Tree Ladies Golf

Linda Cannon emerged the low net winner for weekly tournament play ending Oct. 31.

Ruth Roberts won game of the week, while Linda Hilburn took low putts.
