Faith Christian falls to Mount Calvary
Faith Christian's Elizabeth Clarke had two kills, two aces, two digs and one block in the Conquerors' 25-12, 25-13, 25-23 home loss to Mount Calvary on Monday.
Christy Charles posted three digs and four kills for Faith, while Summer Honeycutt added three kills and two digs.
The Conquerors host Bethel Christian of Kinston at home today.

PANTEGO -- Wayne Country Day's Laura Ziemer had five aces, four kills, two digs and one block as the Chargers dropped a 25-16, 25-27, 25-16 contest at Terra Ceia on Monday.
Amanda Benton added three digs and two kills for Wayne Country Day (5-7, 2-2 Coastal Plains Independent Conference).
The Chargers travel to Rocky Mount Academy today.

PANTEGO -- Wayne Country Day's Brianne Radford, Heather Price and Kayla Flanagan had four aces each in the Chargers' 25-15, 25-17 win at Terra Ceia on Monday. Flanagan and Stephanie Sykes also had two kills each.
The Chargers (5-5, 2-1 Coastal Plains Independent Conference) travel to Rocky Mount Academy today.
Middle School
Norwayne d. Greenwood 25-10, 25-15, 25-22 -- Dana Jones and Anna Sullivan served on nine points each, while Cynthia Burroughs served on eight points. The Cobras (5-0, 3-0) host Eastern Wayne on Oct. 4.
Eastern Wayne d. Rosewood 25-13, 25-18, 23-25, 27-25 -- Mollie Musgrave and Laverne Jones served on 13 points each. Jazmine Middleton served on nine points for the Warriors (5-1), who travel to Norwayne on Oct. 4. Rosewood's Paige Babb served on 22 points and had six aces, while teammate Taylor Johnson served on 16 points with four aces. The Eagles (3-3) host Grantham on Oct. 4.
Mount Olive d. Spring Creek 3-0 -- Lauren Darden paced Mount Olive -- serving on 21 points with 11 aces. Alejandra Ontiveros served on 12 points with three aces for the Chargers, who are in first place in Division II play.
