Prep volleyball -- WCDS prevails

OXFORD -- Wayne Country Day's Amanda Knutson had ten aces and two kills as the Chargers swept Oxford Orphanage 25-15, 25-12, 25-17 on Tuesday.
Laura Ziemer added three kills and ace for the Chargers, who improved to 3-5 overall on the season and 1-1 in the Coastal Plains Independent 1-A/2-A Conference.
Amanda Benton provided two aces and two kills.
Wayne Country Day returns to action on Sept. 14 at home against Greenfield School.
