Prep soccer -- WCDS pounds Terra Ceia

PANTEGO -- Wayne Country Day's Sam Steed tailled his fourth hat-trick (three goals) of the season as the Chagers blanked Terra Ceia 12-0 in non-conference action on Tuesday.
Steed now has 16 goals in the Chargers' first seven games.
Wayne Country Day bounced back from a 3-0 loss to Cape Fear Academy of Wilmington last Friday to improve to 6-1-1 on the season.
Chris Reed and Hyo Won Ha had two goals each, while John Bridgers, Alex Proimos, David Wilson and Will Futrelle had one goal each. Wilson, Reed, Ha and Kevin Logan notched assists.
The Chargers travel to Parrott Academy on Thursday.
