Golf -- Forbis paces Aycock victory

WILSON -- Charles B. Aycock's Kelly Forbis earned medalist honors with a nine-hole round of 47 as the Golden Falcons defeated Wilson Beddingfield and Wilson Hunt in a non-conference match at Wedgewood Golf Course on Thursday afternoon.
Morgan Lane carded a 57, giving Aycock a two-player total of 103. The Bruins finished three strokes back, followed by the Warriors with a 125.
The Golden Falcons (2-0) return to action at home next Tuesday.
