JV tennis -- CBA cruises past Saints

MOUNT OLIVE -- Charles B. Aycock lost just one game on the afternoon as it claimed a 9-0 win over Southern Wayne at the Mount Olive College courts on Wednesday.
Lizzie Sodoma, Mallory Strickland, Mallory Peacock, Lauren Pierce, Courtney Barnes and Stephanie Davis swept all six singles matches 8-0 for the Falcons (2-1).
In doubles, Aycock's combinations of Kara Kelly and Kristen Bennett, Strickland and Peacock and Pierce and Barnes all claimed easy wins.
The Falcons face Wayne Christian at Walnut Creek today.
