Sam Steed notched the hat trick (three goals) as Wayne Country Day throttled Terra Ceia 10-1 in a non-conference match Tuesday afternoon.

Steed scored twice in the first half on assists from Chris Reed and Byron Bryan, respectively. Reed also assisted Kevin Logan on the game's second goal, which turned out to be the game-winning mark.

Hyo Won Ha, Jun Suk Yoon, Ryan Ford and Alex Proimos each collected a first-half goal. George Mayo assisted on Yoon and Proimos' goals, while Proimos assisted Ford.

Ha, Reed and Steed each scored in the second half.

"(We) played a great offensive game," second-year Chargers coach Michael Taylor said. "We will get a big test Thursday as we travel to Rosewood. We are still fighting some injuries."

Wayne Country Day is 4-0 overall.
