Prep tennis -- Bruins edge Hawks

WILSON -- Wilson Beddingfield claimed four of six singles matches on its way to a 5-4, non-conference win over North Lenoir on Monday at the Bruins' courts.
The Hawks got singles wins from Rachel Sasser and Lauren Harris at five and six singles.
North Lenoir's second and third doubles teams also claimed wins.
Mary-Linton Smith and Debbie Vandiford won at number two, while Sasser and Harris won in the third doubles match.
North Lenoir (2-2) travels to Rosewood in Classes 2-A Eastern Plains/1-A Carolina Conference play today.
