Prep Cross-Country -- Aycock sweeps Princeton

PIKEVILLE -- Charles B. Aycock's cross-country teams got first-place finishes from Daniel Stancil and Kylie Justo and claimed wins against Princeton at home on Monday.
Stancil ran a 20:08 in the boys meet, while Justo ran a 23:19 in the girls meet.
Aycock's boys tallied a total of 15 team points, while Princeton did not figure in the team scoring with just three boys running. The Golden Falcon girls finished with 21 team points as the Bulldogs had 38 points.
The Aycock boys took the first nine spots in the race with Alan Toler (20:14), Brogden Hines (21:16), Dalton Denning (21:19) and Travis Reeves (21:25) taking spots two-through-five. Princeton's Philip Croom came in ninth with a 22:30.
Heather Braswell finished second for Princeton's girls with a 24:03. Aycock's Abby Caplinger (24:19), Dominique Worrell (24:26) and Danielle Sealey (25:49) took spots three-through-five.
