Aycock juniors fall in first round

SALISBURY -- Aycock's Junior Legion team stranded at least one base runner every inning as Surry County came away with a 6-1 win in the first round of the N.C. Junior American Legion baseball tournament on Tuesday.
No information was provided on Aycock's Wednesday's losers' bracket game.
Aycock's Jackson Massey had two hits, while Aaron Kline contributed a double. Chris King delivered an RBI for Aycock.
Brandon Price got the loss on the mound for Aycock, who trailed just 2-0 going into the bottom of the sixth.
Surry County's Tyler Marion posted a three-run home run in the bottom of the sixth to put the game out of reach. Surry's John Bullington got the win.
