Dixie 11-12s fall out of winner's bracket

Wayne County's 11-12 Dixie Youth team fell 8-3 to Sampson County American in the finals of the winner's bracket at Mar-Mac on Monday.
Lamar Best had two hits in two plate appearances for Wayne County.
On Sunday, Wayne County defeated Sampson County Nationals 2-0. Dylan Perkins, Gerrell Davis and Cambric Moye combined on a one-hitter. Hunter Newsome went two-for-two in the win.
Wayne County resumes play on Wednesday night at Mar-Mac in the fourth round of the Dixie Youth playoffs.
