Rams defeat Vikings in EPC

TARBORO -- Greene Central's Jordy Davis struck out 12 and allowed just four hits in seven innings of work as the Rams shut out Tarboro 3-0 on Friday.
The win improves Greene Central (9-13 overall) to 3-6 in the Class 2-A Eastern Plains Conference.
Travis Rouse provided a 4-4 effort at the plate for the Rams, who host South Lenoir on Tuesday in its season finale.
