Golf -- Eagles win four-team match

WILSON -- Jonathan Greene emerged the medalist with a nine-hole score of 35 as Wayne Christian prevailed in a four-team Class 1-A Carolina Christian Conference meet at Willow Springs Country Club.
The unbeaten Eagles carded a four-player total of 160, compared to runner-up Village Christian, which had 187. Community Christian, the host team, finished with 205, followed by Trinity of Raleigh with 227.
Eric Williams complemented Greene's effort with a 39. Teammates Matt Davis and Andrew Radford each contributed a 43. Clark Rose and Chad Smith also participated in the match.
Wayne Christian (17-0, 8-0 CCC) travels to Trinity Christian of Raleigh next Monday.
