Tennis -- Greene Central keeps on rolling

SNOW HILL -- Greene Central did not lose a game in singles and doubles en route to a 9-0 shutout, its 16th of the season, against North Pitt on the Snow Hill Tennis Complex courts Thursday afternoon.
The Rams have 13 shutouts in the C/EPC and have outscored the opposition 160-2 in 18 matches thus far. Greene Central is 18-0 heading into next Tuesday's contest against Spring Creek.
Brent Darden, Lin Hall, Chris Hardy, Dustin Grant and Brian Sugg each claimed a singles win. The duos Hall-Hardy and Grant-Sugg each prevailed in doubles.
North Pitt brought five players to the match, which resulted in defaults at No. 6 singles and No. 3 doubles.
Greene Central extended its C/EPC win streak to 82 matches.
