Soccer -- Foye registers hat trick for NL

LAGRANGE -- Elizabeth Foye registered the hat trick (three goals) as North Lenoir rolled past James Kenan 5-1 in a Carolina/Super Six/Eastern Plains 1-A/2-A match Monday.
Foye collected her goals in 26th, 31st and 45th minutes. Haley Bright assisted on the first two marks, while Foye scored alone en route to the hat trick.
Bright scored twice on assists from Katie Maloney and Foye.
James Kenan collected its lone goal three minutes into the second half.
The Hawks (10-0-1, 6-0 C/SS/EPC) travel to county rival Kinston on Thursday.
