FARMVILLE -- North Johnston's Travis Jones had three hits, including a double as the Panthers jumped out to an early lead and claimed a 10-8 win at Farmville Central, the defending Class 1-A Carolina Conference champion.
Jay Edwards had a triple and two hits in the win for the Panthers.
Brad Holloman picked up the win for North Johnston, tossing six tough innings.
North Johnston entertains rival Princeton on Friday.
