Lancaster stifles North Johnston

PIKEVILLE -- Charles B. Aycock's Julia Lancaster struck out 10 North Johnston batters and yielded just one hit as the Lady Golden Falcons claimed a 10-0 win in six innings at home on Wednesday.
Lacie barrett paced Aycock (1-0) with three hits, while Shelly Lancaster smacked two hits. Rusti Talton and Kristen Paynter both doubled for the Falcons in the win.
Whitney Parrish had North Johnston's only hit.
Aycock hosts Southern Wayne on Tuesday.
