The Mount Olive baseball team resumes conference action this weekend as the Trojans travel to Laurinburg to take on St. Andrews in a three-game NCAA Division II Carolinas-Virginia Athletics Conference series.

The two teams will play a doubleheader Saturday beginning at noon, then conclude the series with a single game Sunday at 1 p.m.

Mount Olive (14-5, 4-2 CVAC) is coming off a two-game split this week at No. 28-ranked Francis Marion.

Craig Hurba's team-leading seventh home run, a two-run shot in the top of the ninth, gave the Trojans a 5-4 win Wednesday to earn a split after falling to FMU 6-2 Tuesday. The Trojans have won five of their last six games, including a three-game CVAC sweep against archrival Barton last weekend.

St. Andrews (10-7, 4-1) has today off after playing six games during the last four days, including doubleheaders Monday and Wednesday. The Knights posted a 4-2 record in those games, including an 18-3 win against St. Augustine's Thursday and a 19-5 loss at home against Catawba Tuesday.
