Twin brothers Jeremy and James Ruesch of Rosewood combined to win three individual events and finished in the top three in several others as the Eagles claimed the first-ever boys indoor track meet at Rosewood on Monday.

Jeremy won the 500 meters (1:15.12) and 55 hurdles (9.41), while James took the triple jump (35-2.5).

The Eagles won the meet with a team score of 91, followed by North Johnston with 81. Spring Creek scored 29, while Princeton took fourth with 13.

Rosewood also got first place efforts from Troy Smith (shot put) and Robert Rast (pole vault).

The Eagles' 4x400 relay team of Brandon Briggs, Chris Holmes, Bradley Mullins and Jeremy Ruesch won the event with a 4:00.17.

Spring Creek's Vince Taylor tallied a first-place finish in the 55 meter (7.08).

John-Henry Lane, Alan Rodriguez, Tripp Sloan and Matthew Peedin guided North Johnston's 4x800 relay team to a win with a time of 10:16.
