Prep swimming - Warrior girls place second

ROCKY MOUNT -- Eastern Wayne's girls swam to a second-place finish at a multi-team meet at the Rocky Mount YMCA on Tuesday.
The Warriors were paced by two first-place efforts by Ashley Robinson. Robinson took first in the 200 IM (2:29.30) and the 500 Freestyle (5:43.43).
Eastern Wayne finished with a team score of 100, while Rocky Mount won the meet with 120.
The Warrior boys placed fourth out of 10 teams in the boys meet with a team score of 55.
Garrett Turknett claimed third in the 100 Backstroke (1:10.29) and fourth in the 200 IM (2:41.22), and also participated in the 400 Free Relay and 200 Medley Relay that finished third and fourth, respectively.
