Katha Hicks Harper, 79, 249 Farrior Road, Calypso, died Tuesday at Kenansville Health and Rehabilitation.
Funeral will be Saturday at 3 p.m. at Macedonia Apostolic Holy Church, with the Rev. Swindell Best officiating. Burial will be in Cobb Cemetery.
Born in Duplin County, she was the daughter of the late William James Thomas and Mary Katherine Glaspie Hicks, and wife of Robert Harper.
Five children survive.
Visitation will be 3 to 6 tonight at Garris Funeral Home chapel.
