THELMA BROCK TAYLOR

Thelma Brock Taylor, 91, Goldsboro, passed away peacefully early Sunday morning at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Thelma was born in Duplin County Nov. 1, 1926, to the late Ernest and Mary Frances Brock. She was married to the late Brinkley Harrell Taylor.
Thelma retired from Wayne County schools, and was a member of Pine Forest United Methodist Church.
The family will receive friends Friday, Aug. 24, 2018, from 5:30 to 6:45 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, followed by a service to celebrate Thelma’s life at 7 p.m. in the chapel, with the Rev. Madison Hankal and the Rev. Jason Watford officiating. Interment will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, 2018, at Wayne Memorial Park.
Thelma is survived by her daughters, Rosanne T. Jones and husband, Bernard, and Teresa T. Woods and husband, Lee; grandchildren, Nikki Wood (Albert), Taylor Jones (Heather), Brandi Krichbaum (West) and Whitney Dennis (Tony); and great-grandchildren, Logan Wood, Gracie Wood, Beckett Jones, Brinkley Krichbaum and Lucas Krichbaum.
She is also survived by special nieces and nephews that include Dan and Patsy Seymour, Cedric and Carol Jackson, Doug and Casey Miller and Ernie Kirby, who were always there to help.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Eugene Brock, Jasper “Buddy” Brock, Pauline Wiggins, Edna Kirby, and Louise Seymour.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be given to Kitty Askins Hospice Center, 107 Handley Park Court, Goldsboro, N.C., 27534, or Pine Forest United Methodist Church, 867 N.C. 581 South, Goldsboro, N.C., 27530.
