Ms. Carrie Mae Ward Lewis, 85, 1376 Tommy's Road, Goldsboro, passed on Thursday at home.
The celebration of her life will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Best Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 1065 Tommy’s Road, Goldsboro, with the Rev. Joe A. Jackson officiating.
She will be laid to rest at Barnes Cemetery, Tommy's Road, Goldsboro, NC. There will be a viewing held on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 from 1:00pm to 6:00pm at the funeral home.
She was born Jan. 28, 1933 in Wayne County to Gilead and Sendie Barnes Ward.
She is survived by her sister, Beulah Kelly, Goldsboro.
