Quietly Monday morning, William F. Britto, 73, 412 Waters Circle, passed away at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
He was born Friday, June 18, 1943, in Providence, R.I., to the late John Britto and Cora Shavers.
He is survived by his wife, Adell M. Britto of the home; his children, Sonja (Ronnie) Jones of Knightdale, N.C., Ida (Tony) Winston of Garner, N.C., William (Tori) Britto Jr. of Raleigh, N.C., and Siobhan Britto of Goldsboro, N.C.; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The celebration of his life will be held Saturday, June 9, 2018, at 2 p.m. at Wood Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, with the Rev. Leo Deans officiating. His mortal frame will be laid to rest at Elmwood Cemetery, U.S. 117 South.
Visitation Friday from 2 to 6 p.m. with the family at Haskins Funeral Home. At other times, the family will receive friends at the residence, where it will assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
