Mr. Walter Lee Jones, 84 of 703 National Drive, passed on Wednesday, May 9, 2018, at Wayne UNC Health Care, Goldsboro, N.C.
The celebration of his life will be held on Thursday, May 17, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Deeper Life Church Ministries, 900 Eleventh St., Goldsboro, N.C. He will be laid to rest at the Old Mill Cemetery, 3718 Central Heights Road, Goldsboro, N.C. There will be a viewing held on Thursday, May 17, 2018, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the church. The repast will follow the interment at Woods Chapel FWB Church, 928 E. New Hope Road, Goldsboro, N.C.
He was born on Feb. 11, 1934, in Greene County, N.C., to McKever "Kievy" Jones and Muzzetta "Bush" Thompson Jones.
He is survived by his loving wife, Evangelist Karen Durham Jones; and three children, Walter Lamont Jones, Ingrid Romona Jones and Ruth Mittie Clark of New York.
Services of compassionate and distinguished class entrusted to J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations of Goldsboro.
