Merle Jackson Odom, 90, Mount Olive and Sampson County, died Sunday, April 1, 2018.
Funeral service with visitation to follow Thursday, April 5, 2018, Browning United Methodist Church, 6 p.m. Officiating, the Rev. Arthur Warren Jr., the Rev. Lamar Jackson and the Rev. Patrick Muston.
Graveside, Friday, April 6, at 11 a.m. Place of interment, Wayne Memorial Park, Goldsboro, N.C.
Survivors, husband, Cecil K. Odom of the home; daughter, Angela "Angel" Gayle Odom of Mount Olive; son, C. Keith Odom and wife, Cynthia, of Chesterfield, Va.; grandchildren, Kevin Williford, Ashley Knowles and husband, Johnathan, Erin Odom, Brandon Adkins and Cristen Sickal and husband, Anthony; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by parents, Columbus and Addie Jackson, and seven brothers and sisters.
