HENRY GURLEY

Henry Gurley, 83, Warsaw, passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2018, at his home.
Mr. Gurley was born April 29, 1934, in Pitt County, N.C., to the late Henry Howard Gurley and Peggy Frances Moore Gurley.
Mr. Gurley is survived by his wife, Annette C. Gurley of the home; stepsons, Jerry Casteen and wife, Connie, of Goldsboro, N.C., and Richard Casteen and wife, Lisa, of LaGrange; stepdaughters, Julie Williams and Delmus Cox of Dudley and Wanda Lomas and husband, Steve, of Melbourne, Fla.; brother, Owen Gurley and wife, Joy, of Hope Mills; sisters, Nannie Mae Holloman and Adelle Anderson and husband, Leonard; sister-in-law, Mildred Gurley; 12 stepgrandchildren; and eight stepgreat-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Gurley was preceded in death by son, Jeffrey Allen Gurley; brothers, Lester Gurley, Needham Gurley, Earnest Gurley and R.F. Gurley; and sister, Cherry Belle Holloman.
Visitation will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 9, 2018, at Community Funeral Home of Warsaw.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, March 10, 2018, in Community Funeral Home chapel. Burial will follow the service at 1:30 in Wayne Memorial Park. Military honors and Masonic rites will be rendered at his service.
